 Type
T3 lamps utilize a low mass tungsten filament to provide a high
temperature source that responds rapidly to voltage changes, thereby
allowing precise control in steady-state or dynamic situations.
Lamps are hermetically sealed and filled with an inert gas. The
temperature of a T3 lamp operating at full voltage is approximately
4000ºF making its peak energy wavelength 1.15 microns. These lamps
are available in several lighted lengths with wattage ratings of
100-200 watts per linear inch.
